Kim Seok-jin was born on December 4, 1992 in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. His family members include his father, who is the CEO of a company, his mother, and his elder brother Kim Seok Jung. It was Kim Seok Jung who introduced him to the hip-hop world.
Jin attended Bosung High School, graduating from Konkuk University on February 22, 2017. He earned a degree in art and acting. Jin initially wanted to join his father’s company, but he stepped into the entertainment industry after being spotted for his good looks by Big Hit Entertainment while walking down the street. At that time, Jin was studying acting.
Jin joined the music industry after being spotted by ‘Big Hit Entertainment’ and eventually made his debut with ‘BTS, a Kpop boy band.’ His first co-produced track, ‘Awake,’ was a solo single from ‘BTS’ second album. The song ‘Epiphany’ (which became part of the compilation album ‘Love Yourself: Answer’) was Jin’s second solo.

Min Yoon-gi was born on March 9, 1993, in Daegu, South Korea. He has an elder brother. Yoon-gi initially attended Taejeon Elementary School, then joined Gwaneum Middle School and Apgujeong High School. He holds a major in Broadcasting Performing Art from Global Cyber University.
When Yoon-gi was 12, he listened to hip-hop songs such as Stony Skunk’s ‘Ragga Muffin’ and Epik High’s ‘Fly.’ He felt inspired by the genre of music, which he considered different from mainstream music. He started composing music at the tender age of 13. When he was 17, Yoon-gi started doing a part-time job with a recording studio, where he learned more about composing and arranging music and started performing rap music. Initially his parents were not very supportive of his career choice; however, they later accepted his choice and were proud of him.
Yoon-gi started out as an underground rapper before joining the K-pop group BTS. He was very young when he began composing music. He has more than 60 songs to his credit. Since his debut with BTS, Yoon-gi has remained an integral part of the group. He is a multi-talented person who can write, compose and mix music. He is fondly called “Suga” by his fans. J-Hope, whose real name is Jung Ho-seok, was born on February 18, 1994 in Gwangju, South Korea. He has an older sister named Mejiwoo who is a well-known Instagram personality. RM, formerly known as Rap Monster, is a famous South Korean rapper, songwriter and producer best known as a member of the hip-hop group Bangtan Boys.
Rap Monster was born Kim Nam-joon on September 12, 1994, in Goyang City, South Korea. He grew up with his younger sister, Kim Geong Min. During his primary school days, he was impressed by uniforms and wanted to be a security guard of a housing society. He attended Global Cyber University and majored with honors in Broadcasting and Performing Art. He also had an unusually high IQ.
He is also popularly known as Rapmon by his fans in South Korea. He was a brilliant student and did exceedingly well in academics. However, he took to rapping at a young age and decided to make it his career. He started as a solo artist and sang with a few local groups before he joined the Bantan Boys. After joining the group ‘Bantan Boys’, he became its leader and main rapper as well as songwriter. He has worked with some of the world’s most famous rappers to produce music that has gone viral on the internet. His endorsements include ‘K’hawah’ coffee and several other South Korean products.
Park Ji-min | Jimin | 박지민
Jimin was born on October 13, 1995 in Busan. His immediate family includes his mother, father, and brother. When he was young, he attended Hodong Elementary School and Yonsan Middle School in Busan. During middle school, he studied popping and locking dance at Just Dance Academy and became a top student in the modern dance department at Busan High School of Arts. Even though his teacher suggested that he audition with an entertainment company, it didn’t seem like a good idea at first because he had no interest in becoming famous or being on TV. Once he passed the auditions in 2012, he transferred to Korean Arts High School and graduated in 2014.
In 2020, Jimin graduated from Global Cyber University with a major in Broadcasting and Entertainment.
On June 13, 2013, Jimin debuted as a member of BTS with the release of the single “No More Dream”. As part of BTS, Jimin holds the position of group vocalist and dancer. Under BTS, he has released three solo songs: “Lie”, “Serendipity”, and “Filter”.
Jimin’s voice is delicate and sweet. He is regarded as an exceptional dancer among the members of BTS and in K-pop in general. In 2016, Jimin was ranked as the 14th most popular idol in an annual survey conducted by Gallup Korea. He ranked 7th in 2017, before ranking 1st consecutively in 2018 and 2019.

Kim Taehyung, better known by his stage name V, was born on December 30th, 1995 in Daegu, South Korea. He was raised in Daegu with his younger siblings—his sister Kim Eon Jin and his brother Kim Jeong Gyu. His family has always provided him with all the support he needs for his career in the entertainment industry. Although he is currently single, he says that he is a very romantic person and has been into music ever since he was in school. As of now, his top priority is career and that’s what he is focusing on at the moment.
This K-pop star is known for his boyish charms and powerful vocals. He created and executed the band’s hit singles, and his journey started from the South Korean music industry. Soon enough, he hit the charts internationally, marking yet another K-pop milestone for the country.

Jungkook was born on September 1, 1997 in Busan, South Korea. He attended Baek Yang Middle school and Seoul School of Performing Arts. He received a degree in February 2017. The aspiring musician is also said to be a skilled cook. In addition to music, Jungkook enjoys drawing and playing games, especially soccer. Currently, he resides with his father, mother, and older brother Jung Hyun. It is unknown if he has other family members or not.
Jungkook has been part of BTS since 2013. He is popular among the youth, and his raps and dance moves are known to energize the audience during concerts.
